A is for Alfalfabet!

Ants on asparagus? A herd of happy Herefords? Where can you find these curious words from agriculture? At Barbara-Jo's Books to Cooks!

On Saturday, May 23 at 11:00 Books to Cooks will be celebrating the launch of Alfalfabet A to Z: The Wonderful World of Agriculture by our own Carol Watterson and illustrated by Michela Sorrentino. Kids from preschoolers to age 9 will be delighted by the colourful, lively world of the alphabet through amazing agriculture.

Join us for a fun event including a reading from Alfalfabet, a zucchini-car race, book-making and of course some pint-sized refreshments.

This event is free but please call to reserve a spot. Adults are welcome when accompanied by a child.
