With the arrival of Spring, the food truck scene begins to truly blossom. In honour of sunshine, extra napkins and four wheel dining - the shop serves up an afternoon tribute to the joys of mobile street food. (Sunday, April 14th at 2 pm.) Joining us will be James Cunningham - the funny, personable and always hungry host of the Food Network's Eat St. - and local culinary fixture Vikram Vij. James will be a launching the show's companion cookbook, which features a wide variety of popular recipes from food trucks across North America. Vikram will be serving up tasty treats from his movable culinary feast, Vij's Railway Express.
Tickets are still available for what promises to be a fun afternoon. Twenty-five dollars gets you refreshments and a signed copy of the book. We'll even supply the extra napkins.
