June Goldsmith & Chopin In Paris

Last night at Barbara-Jo's Books to Cooks, musical guest June Goldsmith hosted an evening of music, bubbles and gougeres. Those attending the evening had the pleasure of listening to the music of Chopin and June Goldsmith's interpretation of the pieces. Her lovely comments and stories took their understanding and appreciation of Chopin to a new level.

We would never leave our guests empty handed and decided to treat them to sparkling rose and Michel Roux's gougeres. Here is a look at Mark slaving in the kitchen, turning it into a mini gougere factory. He spent all day making hundreds of those tasty French cheesy puffs. We can all be witnesses to how addictive they were. Thanks Mark.

Our guests not only left with a full belly, but they also took home a copy of Tad Szulc's Chopin In Paris. Happy reading to all of you.
