If you've been in our Main shop in the last little while, you may have noticed that we've recently undergone a kitchen make-over. We replaced our dishwasher, convection ovens and cooktop with new Viking appliances.

The highlight of our little face-lift is our 6 "burner" induction cooktop. Induction cooking, which uses technology involving heat generation from an electric current, is a more energy efficient option than electricity or gas. It heats quickly (a 1 L pot of water comes to a boil in less than 3 minutes!) and offers accurate temperature control.

We carry a nice selection of Demeyere cookware from Belgium that is designed for cooking on induction cooktops. The cookware is constructed with technology that offers maximum induction properties.
